I watched The Andromeda Strain on A&E last night. I've never read the book, but I heard good things, so I watched the movie. It was really good, especially considering that it was a "made for TV movie".

The 2002 remake of Red Dragon based on the book by Thomas Harris. It's the prequel to The Silence Of The Lambs. The original "Red Dragon" was titled Manhunter and was released in 1986. That version featured the talented Brian Cox as Hannibal Lecter--some may remember Cox as the bad guy from X-Men 2: X-Men United. The remake had Anthony Hopkins reprising his role as the serial killer "Hannibal the Cannibal." Edward Norton played the FBI agent who put him away.

Far beyond my expectations. Nothing to rush out and rent/buy immediately or anything, but definitely worth checking out. Woody Harrelson playing the goody-goody Christian guy though? STRANGE. Otherwise, creepy soundtrack and a dismal atmosphere make for a good, slightly tense movie.
