i cannot beat mayor bc he keeps spamming backup and i broke my lunch plate trying to play this and it made me agrivated

Have you considered grinding more or getting better moves?
I only finished because I had T.O.C completion. What a most annoying game. did not even fulfill what was said in the description. A.I.is a drug, if it doesn’t have a combination of skills that completely dominates the opponent, it’s in the infinite damage / healing loop. and the last boss, it’s just luck. or you are in the loop to prevent him from using ragnarok, or instead of using ragnarok he takes an attitude that even a 10 year old child would not do. would liberate the other movements, being that they are all the same !! and with the use of only one of them, any one of them, leads to failure !!! he really is all-powerful, but at the same level of power is his level of imbecility. because that's how I won the damn game.
